Oppaira's Watchlist Review - February 2024

Hey guys, as always, welcome to another set of reviews. Among this month's entries there's Hina Nitori's Oppai GES entry, Asuna Kawai playing a nudist, Rena Fukiishi's first drama since returning to JAV, and of course that incredibly spicy Ryo video. Come find out what I thought of all the releases!

Ai Mukai is reunited with her BIL when he comes for a visit, someone she actually had a thing for in the past. She stunned at first when he makes a move on her with her husband right there, but old feelings die hard and the two are soon at it again like old lovers.

This turned out to be one of those videos that has good intentions, tries something, and then it just doesn't go over as well. I liked the concept of her reuniting with a past love and everything that went along with it but the execution was all over the place. I enjoyed them just casually fooling around and doing fully casual stuff like playing video games or cards. On the flip side they utilized the same setting for so much of the video that it felt very underwhelming. Watching them in the same living room trying to have sex while the husband didn't find out, it got tiring after a while. You need scenes to really feel different and unfortunately when too many things remain constant the video really fails to do that. I still thought the risky bits were nice to an extent and that I could mostly enjoy Ai's performance, so it was still not half bad. To say I hated it would be a big stretch but I wouldn't say I loved it either. It's acceptable although Ai has so much better that I would really not recommend this, and I would take my changes with other videos in these themes before this one.

Asuna plays a girl who is naked every day all the time and we chronicle various scenarios with her naked.

Prestige is a studio that often does these variety videos and honestly I feel like the nudist theme just didn't work all that well. One of the ways the variety scenes work out is by giving you very strong thematic elements to make each scene enjoyable in isolation, but the video didn't have strong enough thematic elements. Simply put, realistic setups and outfits are strong contributors to scenes in ways that nudity doesn't do justice to. It's so hard to enjoy a schoolgirl theme when she doesn't have the outfit on and the video sort of cuts to the chase that the guy can't help himself when she's fully nude. When I mention the word office lady what comes to your mind? Someone in some nice clothes at a cubicle, right? Well what happens when they're just fully nude and we cut to the chase? To some extent the nudist theme did make up for it by being a bit more unique. I will grant the video that you don't see this very often so there is a certain charm to it, and there's a certain charm to setting up a scene because of the nudity. I think part of my disdain for this video was that Asuna was painfully mediocre. I really wanted her to be much more into it than she was to add that missing dimension to the films. You had to just focus on her fantastic body more than usual and my general philosophy is that you can just watch another video because her body isn't going to be any different. As much as I wanted to enjoy it and find a goo Asuna video to enjyo, this was just not it.

Mana plays a NEET who still lives at home. When her younger stepbrother comes to visit he stumbles upon her masturbating. With them each being sexually frustrated things take off between them.

I found the video to be executed well and yet still unsatisfying. The big thing for me is that no matter how spot on the actress is to the concept it's just never going to result in a performance that I like. I simply like seeing raw emotions and this video didn't do any of that. Mana felt aloof the entire time and even in the end when she was a bit more engaged it still felt underwhelming. I thought that visually the video was done well in so many ways. Mana looked great with her casual wear, scenes with just her t-shirt on accentuating her butt, her hair a bit overgrown, even the glasses for a nice touch. I also enjoyed seeing the messy room, it really hammers home the theme. Honestly, I've just realized this theme isn't for me because of the performance, and it's probably something I'm going to have to skip going forward (and hope we don't get bombarded with every studio doing them).

Ririko is a married woman whose sex life has been a little lacking lately. In comes her friend Kana who tells her about all the fun a married woman like her could be having. She gets her set up on a dating app where she meets a college student who reignites the fire in her loins.

Nao Masaki has a way of bringing out the best in actresses and that really happened here. This was easily one of the best performances I've seen from Ririko. She was pretty lively the entire time, very enthusiastic whether it was during blowjobs, handjobs, paizuri, or during sex. Not only that but she did a great job of mixing a bit of sweet and spicy. Sometimes she was going wild and climbed on his back while giving him a handjob, other times she would be all over him while riding and start making out with him. The fact that the sweeter side of things still felt quite spicy because of how all over him she was felt really great. I also really liked the video conceptually about a MILF getting on a dating app to find a younger fuck buddy, especially having her friend introduce her to the idea. Speaking of her friend, we got Kana in the final scene as well in a foursome. There was sadly almost no interaction between them (just a quick peck) but I never expected anything, and just mixing it up like this after the two hour mark for the final hour (of our three hour film) was a great way to keep it from being too tiring.

Hikaru lives next door and needs some help fixing her faucet. She repays her neighbour's kindness with sex and then comes to enjoy having sex with him.

I have such a love hate relationship with Hikaru. On the one hand she looks fantastic, very beautiful with such incredible tits. Every time I watch her I start off by wondering why it's been so long since I last watched her. By the end of the video I wonder the exact opposite; why do I even bother? She's such an incredibly poor performer that you have trouble sitting through the video. I've seen this sort of narrative before but I think this time around the spin on it was so lame that the video felt really bland. Instead of her cheating on her husband she just happened to live across the hall and found herself enjoying sex with him - that's it. Even throughout they found opportunities to have her write the dialogue down on paper instead of speaking, talk about disinterested! At the end of the day Hikaru is really only worth watching if you like her visually, and I must say the first outfit, the way she looked across the hall in revealing clothing, or just POV with her in general was great, but sometimes that just isn't enough.

A guy goes back with his girlfriend to their place and meets her hot elder sister, Hina, in a skimpy outfit practicing her badminton moves. She then runs into them having sex, and with her sister not noticing, tempts him and he blows his load early. The two of them are then off to the races!

Watching this video was largely a choice due to how much I like the series. It has everything you could want: big tits, creampies, risky sex, and a strong but not overbearing narrative. Hina is someone I've reviewed before and I think the same sentiment stands: she doesn't have enough going for her in any direction to stand out. Is she attractive? Sure, but compared to others? Are her tits big? Well yeah, 94H cup is big, but they're not gigantic. Is her performing good? Well, it's not awful but considering how this series has set the bar it's definitely underwhelming. This video was very polarizing as a result. You see, the actual scenes were pretty good throughout. Great amounts of risk, everything flowing quite nicely, like it genuinely felt like they did everything to let Hina shine and she just simply wasn't ready to. The unfortunate truth about this series is that it requires a level of performing that is hard for newcomers to muster. Early on things were great because there were tons of veterans to allow but these days there's so few of them that Oppai ends up with a lot of newer actresses that do the series a little bit too early. Again, I could really enjoy watching her give a risyk paizuri behind the counter or have sex in the shower trying to avoid the girlfriend barging in, great risky stuff, but just not the right execution from Hina to make it shine.

Rena goes to help out around the house when her stepdaughter is pregnant. She finds out that her SIL's love life is barren now that she's pregnant and it's really straining the relationship, and Rena offers to help out. While it's relatively harmless at first the two wind up going way overboard.

I came into this one wanting to watch it not because I had high hopes for it but because it was Rena Fukiishi's first plot video since coming back to mainstream JAV. I don't talk about her a ton because she's been out of it for a long time but she's quietly the third most reviewed actress from myself (behind Julia and Hitomi). I was honestly just so excited to see Rena again and she honestly wasn't as good as I remember. I think being in so many non-JAV stuff during that time made her forget she has to actually act. Rena didn't really get into it one way or the other and it felt like she wasn't really doing much. I don't dislike this series in general but I find the episodes can be really all over the place in terms of how they progress. I'm much more inclined to watch when the actress gets into it because she feels sorry for him not getting anything and these half-baked efforts really kill the vibe. At the end of the day I would honestly steer clear of this unless you are like me and need a Rena Fukiishi fix after the drought we had.

Ai Sayama is chatting with her stepson one day when she notices something is wrong. She eventually finds out he is being bullied at school and decides to take matters into her own hands, becoming the head of the PTA. Surely she can address it herself from the inside, right?

I felt like this video had good intentions but veered off course a little too much. You watch the first scene and go yes, great, Ai is in a hot outfit at school having sex with the teacher, setting up a bit more dominant of a situation the way she initiated it. We're also in the classroom? Okay great, this I can buy. Then you get to the second scene that's a reverse bunny suit with one of the bullies. Okay not what I expected but whatever, visually it's nice enough that I can look past that. Then we get more of a weird soapland theme in the classroom with a mat? Okay now it's off course and I want to skip it. It felt like the video went too far off course from how the video propositioned itself at the start. I would have greatly preferred seeing Ai dominate the bullies and do this as some sort of punishment for them, and then weaving the content around interesting, more natural ways to do that. This just felt a little too random and unnatural to the point I disliked it, especially in the second half. I also found Ai's performance was fine but nothing special. I mean sure, paizuri will look good, and her moaning was good, but the lack of the more assertive style made the video feel a bit too submissive for what it felt like it should have done. It really wasn't terrible but it could have easily been much more.

Ryo works at an office where all the guys are extreme, submissive perverts. So much so they'll jerk off in the women's room or stick a vibrator up their ass in the kitchen. As it turns out this turns Ryo on and she soon comes to dominate them all.

There's no question that Nao Masaki is the best director so when you paired her up with an amazing concept and an actress you like, winner winner chicken dinner. This video was everything I hoped it would be and more. I liked how the video paced itself starting off with her getting a guy off in the washroom and escalating all the way up to her in an office with the boss. They escalated in so many ways, from how wild and outgoing she was to how spicy her outfits are. First scene she's so frazzled in her office outfit with her hair slicked back getting adjusted, in the finale she had the hot cover outfit on and is fucking the boss while tugging on the collar and leash she put on him. The video truly had a lot of variety when it included things like pegging in the middle and despite the narrative itself taking a back seat to more of this generalized dominant atmosphere it felt very good. Overall this video was incredible and is an easy slam dunk for the top 25 at the end of the year (and quite likely my top 10).

I hope you've enjoyed seeing another batch of reviews from me. There surprisingly aren't that many bangers when I do this, perhaps because I watch more with my brain than my heart when I do it like this. But for now I'm still happy to keep doing these and I hope you check in for next month's.
